A collection designed in reverse : built from memory, not momentum.
The process with creating design and original mockups, every silhouette, proportion, and detail defined by hand. From there, the collection was translated into an AI-driven photoshoot, not to chase novelty, but to extend the concept. The result is imagery that feels slightly unreal, like a memory sharpened instead of softened. Familiar, but displaced.
The palette stays restrained: black and white. colors that reflect the use of negative space and the graphics themselves. Embroidery, stitching, and surface wear replace loud statements. Nothing feels temporary.
Retrograde isn’t about revival for nostalgia’s sake. It’s about moving backward with purpose, reclaiming what lasts, discarding what doesn’t, and presenting it without apology.
